Upcoming actress Samantha, who shot to fame with Gautham Menon’s Ye Maya Chesave and Jr. NTR’s Brindaavanam, will be the heroine opposite young hero Ram Charan Teja in his next film to be directed by V.V. Vinayak.

After their super hit combination in Yem Maya Chesave, cute actress Samantha and master romantic film maker Goutham Menon are joining hands once again!

Erra Gulabilu is one of the best movies directed by K Bharatiraja in the late 70's. Starring Kamal Haasan and Sridevi in the lead role, the thriller won many accolades. Now Gautam Vasudev Menon is making a new thriller with the same title. Starring Samantha (who made debut in Gautham's Ye Maaya Chesave) and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles, the film is also being made in Tamil as Nadunisi Naaygal.

Samantha, who plays the role of Indu in the film Brindavanam, dumped heaps of admiration for her hero NTR. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Samantha said that she virtually forgot her name was Samantha, as her new colleagues and fans started calling her `Jessy` (name of the character which she played in Ye Maya Chesave).

Director Chandra Siddhardha is producing a film titled Housefull introducing a new director Ajay Bhuyan. The film’s music was launched today (Feb 11) at a special function held at Prasad Labs. D Suresh Babu, VV Vinayak, Seenu Vytla, Lagadapati Sridhar, RP Patnaik, Kuchipudi Venkat, Ajay Bhuyan, Chandra Siddhardh, Anoop Rubens, Peddada Murthy, Chaitanya Prasad, Vipin, Arya and Murali (Junglee music) attended the event. Junglee Music, part of Times Group, is entering into Tollywood with this movie.

Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj and Anushka starrrer Vedam had its music launch on Sunday evening at Taj Banjara in Hyderabad. Directed by ‘Gamyam’ fame Krish and music composed by M M Keeravani, the film is produced by Arca Media.

Kavya's Diary , which stars Charmme and Manjula in the lead, is to release next month. Ram Charan Teja was the star guest for the film's music launch that was held Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Sunday. Superstar Krishna launched the film’s audio and handed over the first copy to Ram Charan Teja. The film is directed by Karuna Prakash. Apart from Manjula and Charmee , Shahank acts in this thriller. Mano has composed the music.

Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) is just 22 years old and finished Engineering and aims to become film director. He falls in love with 24-year-old Jessy (Samantha), daughter of his house owner. Jessy is Malayali Christian and works with a software company. First she refuses Karthik’s proposal of love as he is younger than her and she’s Christian and he’s Hindu.

Balakrishna’s new film, to be directed by Boyapati Srinu (Bhadra and Tulasi fame) and produced by Paruchuri Kirti with a whopping budget of Rs. 15 crore under the banner of United Movies, has been titled Dhanraj and this title has been registered in the Film Chamber. The film will be launched on August 16.
